PS Technology Inc. (PSTI) is a respected solution provider of planning studies, system protection engineering, and high voltage design of renewable and utility power facilities through 500 kV.  PSTI has diligently and successfully served clients in Alberta and Western Canada for over two decades.  PSTI operates as a fully owned company of Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI).  A leading power engineering consultant firm, ECI provides engineering, system planning and studies, technical consultation, project management, surveying, environmental planning, commissioning/testing and construction services to electric utilities, energy developers and industrials throughout the U.S.  Our experience includes system voltages from 4.16 kV through 765 kV.

PSTI has an immediate opening for a Structural Drafter.  Under general supervision, the successful candidate will utilize computer-aided drafting and other compatible software tools to support engineering and drafting projects with a goal to develop sub-professional work knowledge and abilities by executing drafter assignments under the supervision of an experienced project engineer or project manager.

Minimum Requirements: 2-year college diploma in CAD drafting/design, or equivalent; experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation/Bentley; 4+ years of  experience with detailing structures and foundations.  The successful applicant must have proven effective verbal and written communication skills, proven excellent level of interpersonal skills, and proven ability to work with confidential information and exercise independent judgment. The successful applicant must be detail oriented and possess a high level of organizational skills and be able to work individually and on a team. Occasional travel/driving may be required.  The successful applicant may be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking.
